I closed SamSmith.co.nz last month. After 8 years I realized that I just wasn't using it, and it wasn't worth the $100 a year it was costing me. This blog may or may not continue. For now... it is sleeping... :)

We're finally all moved in and about about 95% unpacked... only 360 mortgage payments left...

The offer and purchase & sale was accepted. The movers and UHaul truck is booked, 95% of everything is packed. All the mortgage paperwork is complete and the bank has granted the loan. The insurance is settled, the mail has been redirected, and the apprasial is done. New furniture has been ordered - Jordan's Furniture, IKEA and Target's future is secure thanks to our recent purchases... ...and in 7 sleeps my net worth will take a -825% hit.
I can't wait. :)
2 weeks to go...
We finally got the final word from the seller yesterday, we are moving in Tuesday 26th May. Less than 2 weeks to finalize the move... Things are close. The movers and truck are booked, about 75% of my stuff is packed, my mail has been redirected, and the paperwork is 95% done...
Purchase and Sale
All the documents for Purchase and Sale have been completed. 3 more weeks and we can move into our new place. Now it's time to Purge and Pack...
House Inspection A-OK
Everything was fine at the house inspection. The inspector commented at the end that it was the 'best inspection he has done for 6 months". A couple minor things here and there and a possible building code voilation with the location of the fuse box, but nothing that will stop this train from continuing to roll!!
